Orville Ens
August 7, 1953 – September 3, 2022
The family of Orville Ens announces his passing on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at St. Paul’s Hospital after a short illness. His loving wife of 48 years; Tina, was at his side as always. He was proud of his children and grandchildren and was not shy to tell anyone. He was a man of faith with an open and accepting heart who loved to visit and entertain. Orville’s generosity and sense of humour will be missed by many.

Tina, Trent, Trevor, Darrell, Ryan, Heather and families. We are sorry to hear the news of Orville’s passing. During a couple visits to the farm while we lived in AB we were welcomed with open arms and felt like we were part of the family even it was for a couple hours. Orville’s wholesome love for his family and genuine out look on life will certainly resonate through his children and grandchildren for many years to come. Thinking of you all at this difficult time. xo

Terrible day for friends and family closes to the Ens family. I lived with my aunt Nickie and uncle Darrell for a long-time during college in swift current Saskatchewan and I’ll never forget all the great memories that were made with the entire Ens family.
When I first met Uncle Darrell, I thought he was one of the coolest, funniest, hardworking people I have ever met. He showed such hard work, determination, and love toward his family and would do anything for almost anyone, and after meeting his brothers and sisters they all carried the same traits.
Where am I going with this? Well, there is a reason why they’re great people, it comes from their Parents.
The first time I met Orville was out to his Farm when we spent Christmas there and right away, I felt like I was a part of their family from day 1. They treated me like I was one of their own and throughout the years in college I needed a place to stay in Saskatoon and Orville didn’t hesitate to offer his home when he heard the news. Not everyone shows the kind of kindness Orville showed it’s very rare to see today.
Even though he has left this world he hasn’t truly left. Because of him and his insanely hard work and love he had towards his family he has helped shape the type of people we are today, its carries with us, and we will continue to carry that down toward our children.
This is a busy world and a lot of us can barely make time for family, I wish I could of told him one more time “thanks for everything”.
I loved Orville and I will always remember him.
Tina My condolences to you and your families, I remember when Orville taught me at VBS at 13 mile corner in 1971. He even gave me a ride in his purple VW with yellow flowers painted on it. Then on June 1978 you and Orville came to my parents and asked me if I’d like to work for him. From that day on Orville was like a big brother to me.
My condolences, Tina, to you and your family.
May the Lord be your comfort and peace during this time.
