Merrill John Donkin

On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, Merrill John Donkin, loving husband to Dwayne Belcourt passed away at the age of 59.
Merrill John Donkin was born on October 6, 1963 in Olds, AB to Angus Donkin and Norman Fenton. Murphy (Merrill) received his Travel Agent Certificate but that was not for him. He worked Various Warehouse Jobs, building log homes, Document Management and finally Costco. On April 16, 2022, he married Dwayne William Belcourt. They raised several cats and dogs and rabbits and the most loved animals’ chickens.
Murphy (Merrill) was very metaphysical and very good at many modalities. Always willing to help people with the health issues in person or a far. He enjoyed reading many different kinds of books, gardening, canning and most of all sharing his canning with friends and family. Murphy (Merrill) enjoyed working at Costco and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit.
Murphy (Merrill) was preceded in death by his father Angus Donkin. He is survived by his husband Dwayne, his mother Norma Fenton, his brothers Mitch wife Betty, Mark wife Kathy, Matt wife Lanaia and several cousins, nieces, nephew.”
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022, 2:00 pm at the Dalmeny Senior Centre, 230 Ross Ave. Dalmeny, SK. Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

So sorry for your loss. I have many fond memories of goofing off with Merrill in high school. His warmth and kindness were intertwined with all the laughing. I am grateful to have reconnected with him on Facebook in the last few years. ❤️🙏
