Perry Dean Hubick
December 11, 1957 – August 10, 2022
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Perry into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 10, 2022.
Perry was predeceased by his parents, George and Helen; brother, Murray; father-in-law, Glen Mills; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and family in Christ.
Perry loved Jesus! His whole life was centered on “being about his Father’s business” as Perry would often say.
Perry will be greatly missed by his wife Cheryl and their children: Darren (Jill), Jordan (Carolyn; Mikah and Eliza), Kyle and Karla. His sisters Lori and Lana; sibling-in-laws Jackie, Corinne (Lou) and Brian (Karen), mother-in-law Roberta, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Perry will also be missed by many cherished friends who are far too numerous to mention.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Life Outreach Church. Please go to the church’s website for directions. You may also join us online by using this link www.lifeoutreachchurch.ca/perry
In lieu of flowers, a Legacy Account has been set up in Perry’s memory to help support the missions and ministry that were the passion of Perry’s life. Tax-recitable donations can be made to giving@lifeoutreachchurch.ca; in the memo box, please specify “Perry’s Legacy” or a charity of your choice.
A private family interment will take place at a future date.
Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

Dear Cheryl and family
We are so sorry to hear of Perry’s passing, praying God’s peace, comfort and hope to cover you knowing you will see Perry again.
We have fond memories of finding Jesus and growing in our faith together at Glen Elm Church in the 70’s. Experiencing the baptism of God’s Holy Spirit, that called many like Perry to be ” about the Father’s business “
So sorry to hear of Perry’s passing Cheryl and boys! Barry and I and the three Bircher boys enjoyed being with you during our time at Glen Elm! My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time!🙏🏻

Dear Cheryl and family,
How does one find the words to adequately express a loss like this? Perry was loved by so many and impacted countless lives. He leaves behind an incredible legacy in all of you. I can just imagine his joy at hearing, “Well done, precious servant, and welcome.” We look forward to the resurrection when we will all join to “eat at the feast in the kingdom of God”. (Lk 14:15) We love you all and are praying for you.

Cheryl and all of the Hubick family, your church family and friends- Sincere condolences on your very deep and real loss. Perry touched and impacted lives locally and globally. Many people who may have not heard about God otherwise, did because Perry went out to them first. I add my prayers to those of many others- May God sustain and comfort you now and in days ahead.
Dear Cheryl, Karla, Darren, Jordan, and Kyle, I just spoke with Perry last week about ministry & church. He made time for me, shared the Lord’s wisdom, & prayed for me. This is so like Perry. I never thought it would be my last time to thank him and tell him I love him. So many memories as Rachael’s godparents, Love Lives Here bus ministry, Glen Elm, Celebration. There are soooo many memories! Too many for me to list here. I will just sum this all up with this. Perry has made one of the biggest impacts on my Christian walk & faith. His faith & boldness in Christ emboldened my own. I will remember your husband & father as my dear brother for the rest of my life with overwhelming thankfulness to God for allowing me to know him. Praying for you all. We love you. We are present with you in spirit & will be online on Monday. ❤️❤️❤️

Cheryl, Darren, Jordan, and Kyle & Karla – We were so sorry to hear of Perry’s passing. Nate & Casey have talked very fondly of him over the years. It’s clear that he was a wonderful man from all of the testimonies at his funeral service. What a legacy he leaves on earth…..and what a wonderful time he must be having in Heaven right now. God’s peace to you all during this time.
Dear Cheryl, family and friends,
I had the joy of joining you at the service yesterday online and I’m still thinking about it and often laughing. What an example he was for all of us. I have such wonderful and clear memories of our Russian trips and The Musical Story of Jeremiah. He was a special and forever friend and brother.
I love you all and keep you in prayer during this time.
We were very shocked by the news of Perry’s homegoing. He accomplished so much for the Kingdom and the Father’s Business during the years that the Lord gave him. Even as we rejoice for a life well lived, a life dedicated to the Lord, and one that impacted many souls and helped populate Heaven, Our condolences go to Cheryl and the family. May the good Lord comfort you as only He can and give you the strength and the resources that you need for the days ahead.
I’m still in shock, this man brought god back to my life. Perry changed my life and never met him face to face. My condolences to Cheryl and children. He gave me the strength to leave a abusive relationship…..he will be missed.
Aloha! I am not sure if Lori will remember me but met Helen, George, Perry, Terry, Kim and maybe Lori when they visited Oahu, Hawaii in 1980. I was going through boxes and old letters and came accross a letter from Helen. We used to correspond often. I decided to do some research and came across Perry’s obituary. My condolences to the family. I will always have fond memories of how kind your family was to me (I was a Front Desk Clerk at the hotel they stayed at in Waikiki). God bless Perry and your family and may he rest in peace. Aloha from Kauai. – Sally
