David Paul Logue
March 3, 1969 – June 30, 2022 (53)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David Paul Logue on June 30th, 2022 in Saskatoon, SK.
David was predeceased by his father, Paul, and his mother, Marie, (nee Rose) as well as his dear friend, Clarence Grobb. He is survived by his loving wife, Trisha, (nee Roszell), mother-in-law Marge Roszell, father-in-law Don Roszell, sister Diana (Mark) McGrath, and nieces and nephews Paige, Cara, James, and Andrew McGrath. He is also survived by his sisters Judy Swain (Lester) and Amanda Logue, brother Steve Logue (Wendy), nephew Adam Logue (Terri), and their children, Carina, Alex and Adrian.
David was born in Hamilton, ON and the family moved to Louisbourg, NS when David was five years of age. Although born from away, Louisbourg became home, and David cherished the lifelong friends he made and was a proud Cape Bretoner through and through.
After a brief stay in Toronto, wanting to be closer to family, David moved west to Saskatoon in 1992 where he worked as a printing press operator. In 2007, while celebrating a Roughrider Grey Cup victory over the Bluebombers at a house party at Don’s, David met the love of his life, Trisha Roszell. Together they moved to Asquith, SK where they built a home and life together. In 2019 they were married at their home surrounded by family, friends, and of course their beloved dog, Hank.
David developed talents as a woodworker and he enjoyed spending time in his shop building projects for family and friends. The love and care he put into every piece was evident. David’s kind and loving spirit warmed those around him and he had so much more love to give, he will be deeply missed.
All are welcome to a come and go celebration of life that will be held on Saturday, July 9th from 3:00-7:00 at their home at 205 Main Street in Asquith, SK. An interment will be held in Louisbourg, NS on July, 31st, 2022. Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.
