Margaret Neufeld (Peters)
June 12, 1942 – November 23, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother Margaret Neufeld at the age of 79 years.
She made the journey to her Lord and Savior and was welcomed at heaven’s gate by her husband Peter, daughter Carol, parents Anna and Henry Peters and siblings who passed away at birth.
Family surrounded her as she took her final breath. Left to mourn her departure are her son Raymond, daughter Connie (Jeff) Brick and son-in-law Travis Neufeld; her grandchildren, Madison, Evan, Ashley and Neena; sister Susan (Peter) Unger and brothers Johnny (Martha) Peters and David (Martha) Peters; and many special nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
A special thank you to the caring and loving staff at the Warman Mennonite Care Home who became her extended family and loved her in our absence due to Covid restrictions. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the family and friends who have reached out with love and support as we move through this journey of grief.
God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be, so he wrapped you in his loving arms and whispered come with me.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at North View Mennonite Care Home Chapel located at 201 Centennial Blvd, Warman, SK. There will be limited seating.
Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 438 2nd Ave North, Saskatoon, SK, S7L 2C3. Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.
