Tina Andres
1937 -2021
Tina (Hamm) Andres was born at Hague, SK. on December 13, 1937. She attended public school at Hague Ferry and high school at Fielding, SK. She graduated from Bethany Bible Institute in Hepburn, SK. She then went on to Teacher’s College, receiving her certificate and taught grades one and two in Hepburn, SK. Tina taught there two years and then married Reuben Andres whom she met at West Portal M.B. Church. God blessed their union with three boys and a girl; this happened within a two and one half year period. She was always interested in sports and was the family cheerleader, referee, and sports commentator. She attended many volleyball, softball, basketball and hockey games, never complaining about having to wash so many team uniforms. Even in her last months, cheering for the Riders and beating dad at scrabble were family highlights.
Above all, she was a mighty prayer warrior! Daily devotions included a list of people for whom she prayed faithfully. Close to her heart was the desire for all of her children and grandchildren to want to follow Jesus.
Now she is in heaven, leaving us to celebrate her wonderful contributions, her husband Reuben; a son Ron (Marg); a daughter Jeannette (Roger); twin boys Wendell (Gwen), and Warren (Joan); eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren, and one sister Ann Penner.
A private service has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Dalmeny Funeral Home 306-254-2022.

Sending condolences to the family on the your loss of Tena. I remember her as a cheerful and kind lady Thankful you have fond memories of her and for the hope of a reunion! In our prayers
To my recollection, I only met Tina once, 44 years ago today. I had asked my aunt Elizabeth Derksen to sing at our wedding, and she suggested she do a duet with Tina. “Wither thou goest, I will go” I thanked her then, and I remain thankful that she gave so freely.
So sorry to hear to hear about the loss of Tina, I got to know the family when they hired me to help out when the twins were born .
I want to extend my condolences and assure you of my thoughts and prayers as you mourn your loss of Tina. When we dropped in at your home she was always so welcoming and cheerful and we appreciated the welcome so much. Now she and Ethel are both at home with Jesus and we will be welcomed by them and Him when we come. May you be blessed with comfort and sustaining grace.
So sorry to see this. Our prayers are with you.
Sorry to hear about your loss. May God be your comfort.
