I worked for Herman in the late sixties and enjoyed it. He was an excellent road builder. He was a good teacher to us young guys. We always had something to visit about when we met.
Our sincere condolences to you Kelly, Caren & family!! We certainly have fond memories of our visits with Herman & Esther. What a fun-loving couple, great sense of humor, very hospitable, & enjoyed delicious meals.
We have enjoyed many conservations with Herman, and these will be truly missed. Herman demonstrated the love of God through his caring & compassionate heart. We mourn with you on the passing of your dad but rejoice on his entrance to his Heavenly Father. HUGS to you all!!
Our sympathies to the family… Herman was a caring and generous cousin – we have been invited to his place several times for delicious meals! We will miss him – So Sorry….
Till we meet again, my gallant brother in Christ.
Brother Herman has now gone to his Reward, and is now with his beloved wife Esther. They always loved and treated my wife and I as part of their family. Over the years they supported the mission work, including donating a truck and camper for the purpose of spreading the Message upon many trips, allowing supplies, and Gospel material to be delivered to the dozens of churches, and the masses of believers South of the border.
Any words of appreciation I can give would come up far short of the gratefulness of both myself, and those whose lives were touched by his fellowship and kind donations.
May God give his caring soul eternal and joyful rest within the peace of his bosom, and always comfort his family in that their loss is Heaven’s gain.
