Guy Detillieux
October 5, 1936 – January 17, 2021
Guy passed away suddenly on Sunday, January 17, 2021 following surgery at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon. He was born in Vonda, SK on October 5, 1936 on the family farm. Guy was happiest when he was doing what he was born to do – farming. He will be fondly remembered by his wife Florence; son D’Arcy; four brothers Emile, Gaston, Maurice and Laurent; 3 sisters Corinne, Simone and Gabrielle. He was predeceased by his daughter Chantale on October 23, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Philippe Church in Vonda. Due to Covid restrictions attendance will be by invitation only. If you would like to attend and have not received an invitation please call the Dalmeny Funeral Home. Condolences to Guy’s family and friends. I will always remember Guy for his kind spirit and the friendship he had with my mother and father. Guy always had time to say hello, visit and share a smile. Rest in Peace.
