Betsy Howes
February 10, 1927 – June 22, 2020
The family of Betty Howes sadly announces her passing on Monday, June 22, 2020 at the age of 93.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Trudy (Owen) Westad, her 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, two son-in-laws and other relatives.
She was predeceased by her two oldest daughters Brenna Goodfellow and Marjorie Speer and Earl, her husband of 57 years.
She was raised on a farm near Sceptre, SK along with her 5 siblings. She married Earl Howes in 1950, they farmed and enjoyed raising their 3 daughters within the community. In retirement they moved to Saskatoon where they enjoyed the company of friends and family. The past 4 years she has enjoyed life at Diamond House where she was loved and cared for.
A Memorial Service took place on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at First Saskatchewan Lutheran Church.
Memorial donations may be made to the Sask. Cancer Agency or to the First SK. Lutheran Church, Langham.
