The passing of my brother Robert (Bob)(Bobby) Herbert Kinzel left me with lots of wonderful memories. I will share these with you. As a young girl, Bob was there to help me in any way he could. He looked out for me. While attending high school Ron Kinzel (nephew) and myself) worked for Bob at his service station and transport company. He was a good boss.
Then fast forward to an invite to Bob and Florence’s beautiful cottage and Big Shell Lake where he was acting mayor for a few years.
Another memorable invite was at the old timers hockey club banquet at the WDM with approximately 200 fellow players and wives and guests. The master of ceremony was Ken Crump entertaining us. Bob had a passion for hockey, living and loving every moment. The accolades were deserved. I felt so privileged to be sitting next to Bob, with some of the men or women stopping for a handshake or a pat on the shoulder. What a wonderful evening.
Bob was dedicated and loyal to his church and they spoke so highly of him.
Supper parties at my home were filled with laughter and especially at trivia time.
Bob leaves one brother, George, sister Esther Schweigert in Kelowna, Emma Loraas and myself Clara Hall.
I will miss him and I will always value all the good memories.

I am sad to read of Bob’s passing. I will remember him as a kind man who loved the game of hockey like few others. He was always a gentleman.
