Leenderd “Leo” Seffelaar
July 26, 1947 – February 19, 2020
Leo passed away at the Oakwood Manor Group Home in Rosthern, SK on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at the age of 72 years. He is predeceased by his father, Leenderd Gerardus Seffelaar (2000), mother Alida Gertrudas Seffelaar (2002), and sister Maria Seffelaar (2005). Lovingly survived by his brothers, Ignatuis (Emma), Marc (Carol), and Joseph (Selina), nieces and nephews, Christopher, Jonathon, Carla, Callista, Laurelle (Richard), Jacqueline (James), Josh (Laryssa), Aaron (Monique), and Jessica (Cory); and 10 great grand nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, 2:30 p.m. at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny, SK. Arrangements entrusted to DALMENY FUNERAL HOME 306-254-2022.

I’d like to light a candle in celebration of my Uncles life.
Leo, when I think of you, I will always remember your magnetic personality, and your positive outlook. I remember a hand-drawn birthday card with a picture of you fishing that friends made and all signed for you on your 70th birthday. I remember you baking Dutch treats for us last year and all of us at Valley Action painting flags to celebrate King’s Day at the end of April. I hope there is no end of tulips and daffodils and fish jumping everywhere as you travel on.
