Kevin Wiggins

Kevin Wiggins

December 30, 1950 – January 12, 2020

Kevin Alexander Wiggins was born December 30, 1950, to Wallace and Marion Wiggins (nee Roveda) in Campbell River, BC, the oldest of four children. He spent his early childhood in various locations along the BC coast where his father flew bush planes and water bombers, and then moved to Victoria upon his father’s death when Kevin was eleven years old.  After his schooling, Kevin learned cabinetmaking under his assistant pastor and took up the trade as his life’s work.

He married Marguerite (nee Alford) in 1981 just after moving to Saskatoon, SK, and, as active members of their church community, they raised their four children there.  Their latest of eight grandchildren was born just before Christmas of this past year.

It is with great sadness that we announce Kevin’s sudden passing January 12, 2020, but we take great comfort in the assurance that his trust in Jesus as Saviour has taken him into everlasting life, where we will meet again.

Kevin is predeceased by his parents, Wally and Marion, and is survived by his wife, Marguerite, son Ben (and his wife, Jenn), and their four children, Joah, Mia, Jackson, and Addison; son Sam (and his wife, Katie), and their four children, Aubrey, Scarlett, Monty, and Norah; and his two daughters, Lizzie and Amy, along with his sisters, Sandra and Cheryl, and his brother Jeff and their families.

A Memorial Service for Kevin will take place Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at Mile Two Church, 102 Pinehouse Drive, Saskatoon, SK.  Arrangements are entrusted to DALMENY FUNERAL HOME 306-254-2022.
