Linda it’s too late to tell you this but here are some things I’d like to tell you. We miss you so much already and love every remembrance of you! Heaven seems even closer and more real now that you’re there. We miss your steadfast faith and easy humor. I never saw you get angry or say a mean word. You carefully thought about what you’d say so when you spoke, we paid attention. We remember things like the teasing you got about your dashboard, the offer to go for a ‘beverage’ after a particularly difficult church meeting and drag racing with other ladies of the church! We remember two important things you said you would look for in a husband just a few years ago: he needed to have lots of money and not expect – well, that will remain unwritten here. Linda we saw you suffer and deal with even that without complaining to the very end. You know of course that if love could have eased your last few years and months, you would never had to go through any of it and you’d still be carrying on with the joy of the LORD evident in your life. Our Heavenly Father knew He could trust you to handle it and you certainly did. We miss you Linda and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Until then….
To the family: May our Heavenly Father’s peace and comfort be your constant companion as He eases the pain of parting with your dear Mom.
