Dear Kathy and Family, we are saddened to hear of Uncle Bill’s passing. He was one of a kind and I have very fond memories of his kindness and humour. What a wonderful legacy he has left us in all of you. Our hearts are with you as you say goodbye to your Dad xox Marie, Bob, Leah and Jon
Kathy and Laurel and your entire family, thank you for sharing the wonderful stories of your Dad. He was so dedicated to your Mom and it was lovely to learn about their strong bonds over the years. Know that you are all in my heart and I weep for and celebrate his wonderful life with you at this difficult time. Love from Wendy
Uncle Bill was a friend from the first day I met him. Always kind with a smile, a laugh, a joke. I enjoyed having coffee with him and chatting. I will truly miss him.
Uncle Bill was a favourite with our children and a visit to his house was the highlight of Klaassen family visits. He was interested in what made each child tick and acted on it. At our cottage in Ontario he would take the boys golfing for likely the first time in their lives as their dad really was not a golfer. He is remembered fondly by our children as a “ fun” guy. Rest In Peace, Bill.
Dear Kathy and Siblings. Uncle Bill was a great favourite with our children and a visit to Bill and Helens was a highlight of Klaassen family visits. He was interested in each individual child , spent time with them to discover what made them tick. On visits to Ontario he would treat them to a golf game, likely a first golfing experience. He is fondly remembered by our children.Rest in peace, Uncke Bill!
Uncle Bill was really like another Grandfather to me – he looked just like my actual Grandfather (his brother). I was not able to attend the funeral but I have so much fondness, respect and admiration for him. Living a mile down the road as a child afforded many opportunities to get together. Condolences to all and Rest in
