Ronald Quiring
September 3, 1966 – June 27, 2019
Ron passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 52 surrounded by family and friends. He will be remembered and greatly missed by his wife Verna, son Jesse and daughter Katelyn. Siblings Larry (Pauline) Quiring, Jean (Tom) Courts, Glenda Derak (Darrell), Lorne (Pam) Quiring and numerous nieces and nephews. Ron was predeceased by his parents Elmer and Margaret Quiring. On July 14, 1990 Ron married Verna and started their life together in Langham. They were blessed with two beautiful children, Jesse and Katie, that Ron was incredibly proud of. Ron was diagnosed with MS in February 1992. He showed great determination over the next years fighting to stay as strong and independent as possible. For the past 11 years Ron has lived and been part of the community at Parkridge Centre. He will also be missed by the residents and staff there. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 7:30 pm at Dalmeny Funeral Home, 139 3rd Street, Dalmeny. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Langham Evangelical Bible Church, 47 5th Avenue, Langham. Memorial donations may be made to the Bridge on 20th, 1008 20th Street W, Saskatoon or Redberry Bible Camp, Box 25128 River Heights, Saskatoon. SK, S7K 8B7. Verna, we’ve gotten to know your life a little more in the last few years as you’ve shared it on facebook. We’ll be praying for you, Jesse and Katelyn this week as you go through this next step of your life. God bless you and give you the strength you need from day to day. So good that you have extended family surrounding you.
