It’s with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Tony Krett. Tony was born May 29, 1933 he passed away with family by his side, July 1, 2017. Leaving to mourn his family, Irene (wife), daughter Sandra Krett (Don Penry) children Donaven (Laura, Rylie), Daniel (Meghan), son Larry (Lynda) children Christopher, great grandchildren Bryce, Sierra, daughter Bernadine (Kelly Kuchta), son Kody. Brothers Bill, Mervin (Francis).Tony is predeceased by parents Joe and Katie Krett, sister-in-law Carol Krett. Tony was born in Goodeve, SK. Tony’s life began with his love of horses working at PFRA, then settling in Saskatoon working McKees Moving, then forward to Paul Rendak, and Dominion Construction. He was a proud member of Labour Union 890.Tony was also member Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral of St. George. Tony was hard working, always making sure family was provided for. Tony’s kindness brought him many friends of which he would never turn away from of good long visit, the door was always open for people in need as he would help everyone. Tony was very proud of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, always giving advice and guidance. Tony wished the best for all he knew. The Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. George’s Cathedral, 210 Avenue M S, Saskatoon, SK. with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family would to thank you sincerely for sharing in their sorrow. Your thoughtfulness is appreciated and will be remembered. Thank you to the neighbours, many Doctors, homecare, and staff at St. Paul’s Hospital Palliative Care Unit for extending Tony’s life and quality of life in dealing with COPD.
