Ronald Carl Timm was born June 19, 1952. Ron passed away peacefully at St. Paul’s Hospital on Friday, March 3, 2017. He grew up in Wiseton, SK, and has lived in Edmonton and Saskatoon throughout his life. Ron worked at the Animal Resources Center on the U of S Campus for 30+ years. Ron enjoyed a healthy affinity for nature and animals. Ron is survived by his sister Melody Quick, Lindsay (Piotr), Matthew (Ashley) and Anthony Quick, sister-in-law Lorraine Timm, nephews Shane (Michelle/ Ethan, Ava, and Garrett) and Jeff Timm (Jackson, Rhylee, Cooper, Hudson), Uncle Art (Gerry) and Paul (Merle) Timm, Aunt Wilma Timm, Aunt Alma Heebner, Aunt Esther (Dave) Thiebolt, Aunt Martha Wuschke, and Aunt Collein Altwasser as well as numerous cousins. Ron was predeceased by his mother Elva Timm, father Carl Timm, and his brother Garth Timm. The interment of Ron’s ashes will take place Friday, March 10, 2017 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens at 11:30 am. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Ron’s Life, will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 627 Taylor Street East, Saskatoon, SK. at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 10, 2017. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saskatchewan Abilities Council, 2310 Louise Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7J 2C7, The Heart and Stroke Foundation, 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9, or the charity of your choice.
