Henry Redekop resident of Oliver Lodge breathed his last breath on March 1, 2017, just a few weeks after his 99th birthday. Henry was born in Ukraine, one of six children. His family came to Canada in 1926 and settled in Saskatchewan. Henry met Margaret at a dance and for him it was love at first site! They married in 1944 and raised five sons. Henry was a man of deep faith and his faith sustained him during life’s struggles. He loved his family deeply. Henry was predeceased by his parents, wife Margaret and all of his siblings. He is survived by his children; son, Rubin (Connie), grandson Stuart (Jenn), great grand kids, Colt & Haze; son, Henry (Maxine), granddaughter Susan Redekop, great granddaughter Lydia, granddaughter, Carla (Murray) Willems, great grand sons, Matthew & Thomas; son Arnold (Megan) granddaughters, Jackie Leason (Rudy), Jody (John) Goohsen great grand kids, Jesintha, Olivia & Jett, Jeff (Katie), great grand kids, Mercedes & Jacob, Erin (Devon); son Bernard, grandson Dylan; son William (Susan), grand kids Nathaniel, Benjamin & Ariana (Jory) Braun. Funeral Service will be held at First Mennonite Church, 418 Queen Street, Saskatoon, SK on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
