Beatrice Leone (Betty) Dyck (nee Saunderson) passed away peacefully on August 4, 2016 in the Royal University Hospital. She is sadly missed by her children Jim (Margaret) Dyck and Sandra MacArthur (Torben Sjølin), her grandchildren Michael (Valerie) Smith, Keith Dyck (Colleen Pfeifer), Alison (Danny) Warren, Ryan (Nicole) MacArthur and Carmen (Leon) Janzen as well as six great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Eileen Hogan and one sister-in-law, Doris Dyck. She was predeceased by her husband, Isaac E. Dyck. Betty was born in Rosetown, SK and grew up near Anglia, SK. At the age of 19 she moved to Osler, SK where she lived until 2013 when she moved to Bethany Manor in Saskatoon. Betty was well known in the Osler area serving as postmaster and mayor in Osler and town administrator in Martensville. A Memorial Service for Betty will be held at the Osler Mennonite Church on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm with memorial donations to Mennonite Central Committee, 600-45th Street West, Saskatoon, SK S7L 5W9, are requested in lieu of flowers.
